When the girls are forced to flee Earth to escape being the next target of a deranged Axsian fugitive, they end up getting much more than they bargained for. Their guardian, Kal, couldn't possibly have prepared them for the chaos and intrigue of his home world. Can Silver and Cassandra put aside their differences and work together to make it through alive? Find out in CHANGELING, Book Two of the Weaver Series.
Changeling is the game-changing sequel to Chimera, written by the lovely Vaun Murphrey. This time, we've got both Cass and Silver in full force, going back and forth to get practice at each other's life. At first, things were a bit hard to read the back and forth going on between the two, making it difficult to keep up with who was talking to who and who was narrating at the time. However, this did change as I kept reading, the task becomes easier.

I love this new world and the species presented to us. It's great to change worlds every now and then, especially when they're well written and described. I found myself falling in love with the relationship the girls had with Lil. Every character was believable, the dialogue between everyone flowing well and seeming natural. As for this whole Bindao thing, I'm still coming to terms with it.

One thing I really respected was the growing relationship of Cass and Silver. The reassurance and thoughts coming off Silver when it came to questions like "is she jealous that Cass is the one with the body?" "Would she try to push Cass out and become her own person?" was great. It's great to see that Silver's mindset is always concerned with the balance between herself and her twin, and seeing that with Cass when she let's Silver take over in certain situations to share her body, makes things so much better. I love stories with bonds strong enough to deter situations that are likely to occur when it comes to power.

All in all, the story was great and well-written continuation of The Weaver Series. I'm so excited to see what happens next in the next installment with Cass and Silver. I wonder what is in store for the twins.
