Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people.

Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two.

With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas's masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights.
Oohh mannnnn.

Okay, so if you haven't read my A Court of Thorns and Roses review, then you need to. A Court of Mist and Fury is the action-packed story following the first of its series. When the first ended, I didn't realize that there would be more and with such a different story full of unexpected twists and turns.

We continue to follow Feyre and Tamlin's life when things start unraveling, bringing forth pages upon pages of reveals, action, suspense, and twists. It's so hard to think of other amazing things to say about this book because all I want to do is fangirl over Rhys and this book!

The characters are so well made that it is so easy to just connect and believe in them. The story is written beautifully, making it easy for me to basically watch everything happening in my head like a movie. It was enough to make me forget the world around me, especially towards the end. Speaking of...

When the book was nearing its end, it was so hard to look away even to get a drink of water. I did not want to put it down. On top of the surprising reveal, there was a part that made you believe one thing and ended up being the complete opposite -- a total mind-blow. I'm super excited to continue with the next in the series. I've become super invested in yet another one of Sarah J. Maas' series and I really hope she's not going to destroy me because I don't think I'm ready for that.
